BEGINNERS COURSE

The cost is £70 per course, which is payable when your place is confirmed.
Included in with the cost of the course: Use of all equipment, group lessons from a qualified and experienced fencing coach. Club membership for duration of the course which means participants are welcome to practice what they’ve learned by fencing other club members. Participants are also able to take individual lessons with club coaches to build on what they’ve learned, either before or after the course each week.
Part 1-The Basics
January 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th,
February 6th, 13th.
Part 2- Improving
February 27th,
March 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th,
April 2nd.
The overall cost of this course is £90 for the term or £45 for each part, payable in advance.
Aimed at 7 to 12-year olds, this practically based course is held over 12 weeks from 7pm to 8 pm each Thursday evening and is split into 2 parts. As well as learning the basics of fencing in a group, participants will be fencing other beginners from early on in both parts of this course. All equipment is provided.
The first part of the course is spent introducing participants to fencing and lasts for 6 weeks from 9th January to 13th February. There is then a break over half term on 20th February. On their return, over the next 6 weeks from 27th February to 26th March the course will be focussed towards building on and developing the skills participants have learned in Part 1.
